Because it is not about fighting. It is about building teams that communicate, stay aware, solve problems and perform with more composure under pressure. Six outcomes come up again and again in the debriefs:
Build confidence through practical and achievable challenges.
Practice clear communication while working under controlled pressure.
Develop trust, cooperation and shared problem-solving.
Strengthen calm decision-making and responsibility.
Give employees an active break from the usual office routine.
Develop situational awareness and practical personal-safety habits.
This is the one I put my best instructors on. The difference is not more drills — it is the scenarios. We build three or four of them around whatever the company actually struggles with. If a leadership team tells me their problem is that decisions stall when information is incomplete, I will design a scenario where the information is deliberately incomplete and someone has to call it anyway. Then we sit down and talk about what happened, and the conversation is not about self-defense at all.
The drill teams remember: the Final Mission. Two teams, one objective, a fixed clock and a rule set they receive four minutes before it starts. It is competitive on purpose. What comes out of the debrief afterwards — who took charge, who went quiet, who solved it and never said so — is the most useful hour of the day for most HR leads in the room.

Yes. Participant scaling is quoted separately and depends on venue, instructor ratio and format. Tell us the headcount and we will build the ratio around it.
That is what it was designed for. It works best as the anchor activity of a retreat day rather than a filler session between talks.
For retreats and annual events, earlier is better because instructor allocation and venue suitability both take lead time. A 50% advance payment confirms the date once scope is agreed.
